Unlike conventional UV sterilisers with stainless steel chambers, the Elecro HR-UVC uses a reactor with an E-PTFE coating. The innovative design of the Elecro HR-UVC focuses on not wasting a single beam of ultraviolet light. The water flows through the reaction chamber, where it is exposed to the powerful radiation of the UV-C lamp.
The E-PTFE surface of the reactor acts like a mirror, multiplying the intensity of the UV-C radiation. This process not only destroys microorganisms more effectively, but also eliminates chloramines, which cause odour and eye and skin irritation.
