In spring 2023, we carried out the complete refurbishment of a swimming pool in El Higuerón, Fuengirola, Málaga. The project transformed a conventional pool with serious structural problems into a modern Infinity pool, combining innovative design, high quality materials and advanced functionality.
Initial Challenges
The pool had significant water leaks due to hydraulic system failures and a cracked pool shell. These deficiencies, together with an outdated design, prompted the need for a radical change to meet the owners' expectations.
Technical and Aesthetic Solution
- Hydraulic ReconstructionWe completely renovated the hydraulic system, ensuring efficient and leak-free circulation with high-strength piping.
- Transformation to InfinityWe converted the pool into an Infinity model, creating a visual effect of overflowing water that blends in perfectly with the surroundings.
- Quality CoatingsWe installed a Renolit Alkorplan Touch Relax sheet, from the world's leading manufacturer, with butt-welded heat-sealed seams. This technique, which joins the sheets without overlapping by means of a PVC strip on the underside, guarantees a smooth and durable surface.
- Premium FinishesWe have incorporated Rosa Gres porcelain troughs with grilles, adding elegance and resistance to the design.
- Comfort and SafetyWe level the surface with a 400 g/m² fungicidal geotextile, creating a soft, safe and pleasant to the touch footing.
Final Result
The project not only solved the structural issues, but elevated the pool to a higher level of aesthetics and functionality. The new Infinity Pool is now a central feature of the property, offering an exceptional visual and tactile experience, as well as increased durability and efficiency.
