In this project, carried out in 2025, we transformed a swimming pool with multiple structural and functional problems into a modern, efficient and aesthetically impeccable installation, complying with current regulations and the client's expectations.
Initial Diagnosis and Challenges
The pool had rust stains on the in-situ stonework due to ironwork integrated into its construction, poorly positioned skimmers in relation to the impellers, and a deficient hydraulic system with multiple leaks detected after a pressure test. In addition, the lighting and filtration system were obsolete, affecting both aesthetics and functionality.
Interventions Carried out
- In Situ Stone Reconstruction:
- We demolished the original stone affected by rust and rebuilt it using marble, fibre and white cement, without iron, thus eliminating the problem of stains.
- Hydraulic System Renovation:
- We completely replaced the hydraulic circuit after detecting leaks.
- We relocated the skimmers, impellers and drains to a greater height, unified and equipped with anti-vortex covers, complying with current regulations.
- High Quality Coating:
- We installed a Renolit Alkorplan Touch Vanity reinforced sheet, accompanied by a 400 g/m² geotextile on the floor and stair treads, achieving a smooth and resistant surface.
- The floor was welded by hand, which makes the floor look like a single piece and enhances the aesthetics.
- To mark the steps, we use 15 cm strips of Touch Prestige reinforced sheeting, guaranteeing safety and visibility.
- Lighting Upgrade:
- We replaced the old bulbs with modern white LED bulbs, which are more energy efficient and offer a spectacular visual effect, as can be seen in the photographs.
- Modernisation of the Filtration System:
- We replace defective sand filters, motors and peristaltic pumps with an advanced system including:
- High capacity cartridge filters.
- Adjustable speed motors.
- Ultraviolet lamps for superior disinfection.
- Intelligent pumps for automatic chlorine dosing and pH control.
- This new system takes the pool to an exceptional level of functionality, efficiency and sustainability.

Final Result
The renovated pool combines elegant design with state-of-the-art technology, eliminating previous structural and functional problems. The new in-situ stone, high-end liner, LED lighting and advanced filtration system not only improve aesthetics, but also ensure easier maintenance and safer, more sustainable use.
